Let God Be Found True
Let God be found true though every man a liar. - Romans 3:4
“But he has got nothing on,' said a little child.
'Oh, listen to the innocent,' said its father; and one
person whispered to the other what the child had said. 'He has nothing on; a
child says he has nothing on!'
'But he has nothing on!' at last cried all the people.
The Emperor writhed, for he knew it was true, but he thought
'the procession must go on now,' so held himself stiffer than ever, and the
chamberlains held up the invisible train.”
Excerpt From Stories from Hans Christian Andersen
That is how Christians generally behave.
I am perplexed by how the majority of Christians accept errors
and contradictions without question, despite some obvious violations to a sense
of reason. They see the Word of God as the Emperor, and they can’t admit that
it is has errors.
However, it is not necessary to “throw out the baby with the
bath water” as the saying goes.
The New Testament Holy Bible, also known as the Christian
Greek Scriptures, is not perfect, as much we humans are not perfect, but worst
I am certain that much of the NT Holy Bible has been altered by imperfect
people. I cannot prove it was malicious intent or simple a misinterpretation.
So, it is not that the Word of God is wrong, but that He gave it to imperfect
people, therefore, we have an imperfect version of the Word of God. These
errors need to be corrected. Maybe even with a new canon of New Testament
books. I’m also perplexed how most Protestant Christians are comfortable
knowing that are current canon of NT books were provided, and authorized by the
Apostate Christian Holy Roman Catholic Church Empire. Of course, the ignorant
ones believe it was authorized by the Holy King James.
1) How many copies
of the Gospel Letters were written, how often and by whom?
2) If the Apostles
themselves wrote a copy of the four Gospels for each and every congregation, then
they wrote a letter not only for the congregations in Asia Minor, but also North
Africa, Palestine, Syria, Jordan, Arabia, Persia, Armenia and Europe.
3) Even in that
time of the first century, the Epistles state that there were some apostates in
the congregation pretending to be Apostles (see 2Corinthians
11:4, 5, 13; 12:11; 2Thessolonians 2:1-12; Acts 20:29, 30; 1John
2:18, 19; 2John 7; Jude 4).
“For, as it is, if
someone comes and preaches a Jesus other than the one we preached, or you
receive a spirit other than what you received, or good news other than what you
accepted, you easily put up with him. For I consider that I have not in a
single thing proved inferior to your superfine apostles.” - 2Corinthians 11:4,
5
“And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut
the ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal
with us in the things they boast about. For such people are false apostles,
deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder,
for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then,
if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be
what their actions deserve.” - 2 Corinthians 11:12-15 NIV
“…we request of you not to be quickly shaken from your
reason nor to be excited either through an inspired expression or through a
verbal message or through a letter as though from us, to the effect that
the day of Jehovah is here. Let no one seduce you in any manner, because it
will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness [the
Holy Roman Catholic Pope] gets revealed, the son of destruction. He is set in
opposition and lifts himself up over everyone who is called “god” or an object
of reverence, so that he sits down in the temple of The God, publicly showing
himself to be a god…. True, the mystery of this lawlessness is already at
work; but only till he who is right now acting as a restraint [the real
Apostles] gets to be out of the way. Then, indeed, the lawless one will be
revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will do away with by the spirit of his mouth and bring
to nothing by the manifestation of his presence. But the lawless one’s presence
is according to the operation of Satan with every powerful work and lying signs
and portents and with every unrighteous deception for those who are perishing,
as a retribution because they did not accept the love of the truth that they
might be saved. So that is why God lets an operation of error go to them, that
they may get to believing the lie, in order that they all may be judged because
they did not believe the truth but took pleasure in unrighteousness.” - 2Thessolonians
2:1-12
“I know that after my going away oppressive wolves will
enter in among you and will not treat the flock with tenderness, and from
among you yourselves men will rise and speak twisted things to draw away the
disciples after themselves.” - Acts 20:29, 30
“Young children, it is the last hour, and, just as you have
heard that antichrist is coming, even now there have come to be many
antichrists; from which fact we gain the knowledge that it is the last
hour. They went out from us, but they were not of our sort; for if they had
been of our sort, they would have remained with us. But they went out that it
might be shown up that not all are of our sort.” - 1John 2:18, 19
“For many deceivers have gone forth into the world, persons
not confessing Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and
the antichrist.” - 2John 7
“My reason is that certain men have slipped in who
have long ago been appointed by the Scriptures to this judgment, ungodly men,
turning the undeserved kindness of our God into an excuse for loose conduct and
proving false to our only Owner and Lord, Jesus Christ.” – Jude 4
If there were any congregations that made copies for
themselves what prevented anyone, like those “superfine apostles,” from making
alterations or complete forgeries?
Consider, since John was in prison how many copies could he
have made himself, and how would he prevent any alterations or forgeries of his
Letters as they were delivered by someone else?
The Letters of John were written so late after 70 AD. He was
quite aware of those alterations and forgeries in circulation. And he specifically
states in his book of Revelation 22:18 and 19 cursed is anyone who adds or
removes anything from this book.
Mistakes, omissions, misinterpretations and
misrepresentations and blatant additions were made from the very beginning.
There will never be any proof of it. Because it is assumed by some scholars
that the original letters and copies were destroyed immediately after being
forged. Unlike the Old Testament books, where every High Priest and King were
commanded and authorized to make a new copy. There was a religious discipline
to preserve the integrity of those books, but yet even those books have some
errors although minor, but many major errors were primarily by way of mistranslation
into Greek.
“It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry,
but others out of goodwill. The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put
here for the defense of the gospel. The former preach Christ out of selfish
ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I
am in chains. But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every
way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of
this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,” -Philippians 1:15-18 NIV
Can you believe this? That Paul, and God, don’t care if the
Gospel of Christ, the Word of God, is misrepresented as long as something about
Christ is preached. Maybe so, because in Matthew 13:24-30, 43 the parable of
the wheat and the weeds, the Son of Man sows good seed of wheat in the earth
but while he goes away the Devil sow weeds among the field of wheat. The Son of
Man therefore let them grow together till the harvest and separates the wheat
from the weeds. So then, the Kingdom of heaven has both good seed and bad seed
growing together. The same is condition exists with the word of God, because
contrary ro popular belief the Kingdom of heaven is not actually heave but a
euphemism about the Church or Temple of God. So, again, “Don’t throw out the
baby with the bath water.”
SO, THIS MY TOP 10 LIST OF ERRORS, that the New Testament
scriptures do not conform to the CONTINUITY, SCRIPTURAL PRECEDENCE AND,
INTEGRITY OF THE HEBREW SCRIPTURES:
I SHOULD MAKE ERROR NUMBER ONE:
1st JOHN 5:7 WHERE THERE IS PROOF OF AN ERROR
5:7 There is some confusion in the English translations as
to where 1 John 5:6,7, and 8 begin and end. The portion of 1 John 5:7 that is
found in the KJV which says "in heaven, the Father, the Word and the Holy
Spirit, and these three are one," is not found in the three major ancient
uncial Greek manuscripts of the NT: Alexandrinus (A), Vaticanus (B), or
Sinaiticus (א), nor in the Byzantine family of manuscripts. It only appears in
four late minuscule manuscripts.
1. MS 61, dated in the 16th century
2. MS 88 dated in the 12th century, where the passage is
inserted in the margin by a later hand
3. MS 629, dated in the 14th or 15th century
4. MS 635, dated in the 11th century, where the passage is
inserted in the margin by a later hand
This verse is not quoted by any of the Early Church Fathers,
even in their doctrinal debates over the Trinity. It is absent from all ancient
versions except one late Latin manuscript family (Sixto- Clementine). It is not
in the Old Latin or Jerome's Vulgate. It appears first in a treatise by the
Spanish heretic Priscillian, who died in a.d. 385. It was quoted by Latin
Fathers in North Africa and Italy in the 5th century. This verse is simply not
part of the original inspired words of 1 John. – (http://192.168.1.196,8080/My%20Documents/Bible/1-John%205.html).
AND ERROR NUMBER TWO:
THE DIVINE NAME IN THE NT, AN OBVIOUS ERROR AND NO PROOF.
A biblical magazine declare: "In pre-Christian Greek
[manuscripts] of the OT, the divine name was not rendered by 'kyrios' as has
often been thought. Usually the Tetragram was written out in Aramaic or in
paleo-Hebrew letters. . . . At a later time, surrogates such as 'theos' [God]
and 'kyrios' replaced the Tetragram . . . There is good reason to believe that
a similar pattern evolved in the NT, i.e. the divine name was originally
written in the NT quotations of and allusions to the OT, but in the course of
time [late in the first century] it was replaced by surrogates". - New
Testament Abstracts, March 1977, p. 306.
Dr. P.Kahle says: "We now know that the Greek Bible
text [the Septuagint] as far as it was written by Jews for Jews did not
translate the Divine name by kyrios, but the Tetragrammaton written with Hebrew
or Greek letters was retained in such MSS [manuscripts]. It was the Christians
who replaced the Tetragrammaton by kyrios, when the divine name written in
Hebrew letters was not understood any more". - The Cairo Geniza, Oxford,
1959, p. 222.
“Mr. Pierro analyses as well the causes that lead to the
replacement of the theonym YHWH by the theonym Kuvrio" (< ynado<á
/adonay/) in early Christian texts in Greek. A very tempting explanation,
proposed in the book, is the possible intention of the Christian Church to
create a textual identity between Kuvrio" (in Hebrew ynado<á /adonay/,
literally "my Lords"), that referred to the Christian God Father and
the Jewish One God, and Kuvrio" (in Hebrew ynido<á /adoni/ "my lord",
"my lordship" or in Aramaic yrima /mari/ with the same meaning), that
referred to Jesus of Nazareth.” - YHWH in the New Testament, Rivista Biblica [XLV,
n. 2, April-June 1997 p. 183-186. Bologna, Italy].
ONLY SOMEONE INTENT ON MISREPRESENTING THE TRUTH WOULD
CONTEMPLATE DOING SOMETHING LIKE THIS.
IF THEY WOULD DO THIS WITH THE DIVINE PERSONAL NAME OF GOD
ALMIGHTY, HOW MUCH MORE SO WOULD THEY ALTER THE REST OF THE NT DOCUMENTS.
“"One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful
in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.”
Luke 16:10 ESV
AND THE DIVINE NAME IS NOT A LITTLE THING SPURN.
ERROR NUMBER THREE:
“For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far
as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” - Matthew 24:27 ESV
“For the Son of Man will come like the lightning which
flashes across the whole sky from the east to the west.” - Matthew 24:27 GNB
LIGHTNING DOES NOT FLASH ACROSS THE SKY FROM EAST TO WEST.
ONLY SUNLIGHT AT SUN RISE FLASHES FROM THE EAST ALL ACROSS
THE SKY TO THE WEST.
IT BRINGS FULLER MEANING TO HOW HE RETURNS.
NOT THE BRIEF FLASH OF LIGHT THAT FLASHES FROM ANYWHERE EAST,
WEST, NORTH, SOUTH, SOMETIMES YOU SEE IT, SOMETIMES YOU. DON’T. THAT IS NOT HOW
HE RETURNS.
IN OTHER WORDS, HIS RETURN WILL BE UNQUESTIONABLE,
CLEAR-AS-DAYLIGHT.
THAT SCRIPTURE IS THEM SAME IN EVERY TRANSLATION, BUT IT IS
TECHNICALLY, CONTEXTUALLY AND REASONABLY WRONG.
ERROR NUMBER FOUR:
“Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered
dishonors his head [Christ],” - 1 Corinthians 11:4 ESV
-- This makes no sense. Why, would the Apostle Paul say
something like this? He is a Jew, and a former zealot of the Pharisees. He
knows very well that the High Priest, even the under-priest wear turbans in the
Temple praying in behalf of the people of Israel. A head covering means
submission. Are we not, as men, in submission to Christ?
(Verse 6) And since it is a shameful thing for a woman to
shave her head or cut her hair, she should cover her head.
-- It is not a shameful thing for African women with very
curly hair to wear her hair short. It is extremely hard for us curly haired
people to grow and groom long hair. Most poor women resort to keep it short.
I'm sure Christ did not intend for curly haired African women to make an
intense habit of altering their hair as long and straight as part of the Faith.
-- So, how would anyone define long hair among a race of
curly haired people since no matter how long the stands of hair grow, they all
stand upwards, unless weighed down in braids, locks, bands or wraps.
-- This custom has subjected African women into a mental handicap
of self-mutilation transforming their hair into an imitation of the
straightened hair styles of Europeans and Asians. Thereby, being able to
conform to the customs to wear similar head coverings as Europeans and Asians.
(Verse 16) But if anyone wants to argue about it, all I have
to say is that neither we nor the churches of God have any other custom in
worship.
-- It is precisely for that reason that as a custom, it does
not apply as a rule for all people, especially not for African (negroid) curly
haired people.
-- Christians should have no such customs regarding dress
and hairstyles except to be modest, respectful and holy.
“The women should adorn themselves in appropriate dress,
with modesty and soundness of mind, not with [excessive] styles of hair
braiding and gold or pearls or very expensive clothing, but in the way that is
proper for women professing devotion to God, namely, through good works.” (1
Tim. 2:9, 10)”
“Styles and customs vary not only in different parts of the
world but also from one decade to the next. If the Bible had provided a list of
acceptable styles of dress and grooming, it would now be out-of-date in that
regard.” - Excerpt From: WATCHTOWER. “The Watchtower, May 2016.” Watchtower
Bible and Tract Society of New York, Inc. p.30.
NOTE TO ADD: According to Liber Pontificalis, Linus issued a
decree that women should cover their heads in church, created the first fifteen
bishops, and that he died a martyr and was buried on the Vatican Hill next to
Peter. It gives the date of his death as 23 September, the date on which his
feast is still celebrated. His name is included in the Roman Canon of the Mass.
With respect to Linus's supposed decree requiring women to
cover their heads, J.P. Kirsch commented in the Catholic Encyclopedia:
"Without doubt this decree is apocryphal, and copied by the author of the
Liber Pontificalis from the first Epistle of St. Paul to the Corinthians (11:5)
and arbitrarily attributed to the first successor of the Apostle in Rome.
APPARENTLY, I WAS CORRECT, IT WAS THIS BISHOP LINUS WHO
ADDED THESE WORDS TO THE APSTLES PAUL’S LETTER OF 1ST. CORINTIANS.
ERROR NUMBER FIVE:
Mark chapter 16 alternate endings. How in the world can
there be three different endings. Did someone go back in time and did something
different? Obviously there can only be one ending and the other two are in
error. Yet many Christians prefer the alternate ending.
ERROR NUMBER SIX:
THE MUSTARD SEED IS NOT THE SMALLEST SEED IN THE WORLD. EVEN
DURING THEIR TIME IN THE 1st CENTURY, THEY KNEW OF ANOTHER SEED
SMALLER THAN THE MUSTARD SEED. Thankfully Luke 13:18, 19 does not make that
mistake.
Matthew 13:31, 32 -- “Another illustration he set before
them, saying: “The kingdom of the heavens is like a mustard grain, which a man
took and planted in his field; which is, in fact, the tiniest of all the seeds,
but when it has grown it is the largest of the vegetables and becomes a tree,
so that the birds of heaven come and find lodging among its branches.
Mark 4:30-32 -- “And he went on to say: “With what are we to
liken the kingdom of God, or in what illustration shall we set it out? Like a
mustard grain, which at the time it was sown in the ground was the tiniest of
all the seeds that are on the earth — but when it has been sown, it comes up
and becomes greater than all other vegetables and produces great branches, so
that the birds of the heaven are able to find lodging under its shadow.”
Luke 13:18, 19 -- “Therefore he
went on to say: “What is the kingdom of God like, and with what shall I compare
it? It is like a mustard grain that a man took and put in his garden, and it
grew and became a tree, and the birds of heaven took up lodging in its branches.”
ERROR NUMBER SEVEN:
“The women should keep silent in the churches. For they are
not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says. If
there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home.
For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church.” - 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 ESV
I DON’T KNOW OF ANY POPULAR CHRISTIAN CHURCH THAT FOLLOW THIS RULE. BUT NOBODY WANTS TO SAY IT IS WRONG.
Not necessarily should this be credited to the words of the Apostle Paul but a forgery added to his letter.ERROR NUMBER EIGHT:
“if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast,
not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been
proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a
minister.” - Colossians 1:23 ESV
“THE GOSPEL...HAS BEEN PROCLAIMED IN ALL CREATION UNDER
HEAVEN” REALLY? IN THE FIRST CENTURY AD?
THIS IS TYPICAL BIBLE LANGUAGE THAT REFERS TO A SMALL REGION
OF THE WORLD AS HAPPENING TO THE WHOLE EARTH.
PAUL OR THE HOLY SPIRIT APPARENTLY DON’T KNOW THERE WERE
CHINESE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD, AMONG OTHERS.
ERROR NUMBER NINE:
“lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are
already white for harvest.” - John 4:35 - MEV
IS IT WHITE, RIGHT OR RIPE? There is an obvious error here.
The barley, wheat or whatever are not white and don’t look
white at harvest. Obviously white sounds like right or ripe, but every
translation of the Bible say white. However, does white, right and ripe sound
the same in Greek or Latin? No! only in English How could that mistake happen? Personally,
this seems to be an obvious error of verbal dictation to an English scribe,
copyist monk who misheard ‘ripe’ as ‘white.’ There is one exception, the Good
News Translation corrected it as: “…the crops are now ripe and ready to
be harvested!”
The usual explanations are:
“alluding to the corn fields, which, when ripe, and near
harvest, look white: hence we read of (.....) , "the white field":
which the Jews say is a field sown with wheat or barley, and so called to distinguish
it from a field planted with trees; though it may be rather, that it is so
called from its white look when ripe. So the three Targums paraphrase (Genesis
49:12) : ``his hills (his valleys, or fields, as Onkelos) (......) , "are
white" with corn, and flocks of sheep.'' Christ here speaks not literally;
for the fields could not be white at such a distance from harvest; but
spiritually, of a harvest of souls;” - https://www.biblestudytools.com/commentaries/gills-exposition-of-the-bible/john-4-35.html
ERROR NUMBER TEN:
A SEED DOES NOT DIE BEFORE IT SPROUTS! IF IT DIES IT CANNOT
SPROUT.
1Corinthians 15:36 “You fool! When you plant a seed in the
ground, it does not sprout to life unless it dies.” (GNT) Even if it was
translated as “You unreasonable person! What you sow is not made alive unless
first it dies.” (NWT)
Also, John 12:24 “Most truly I say to you, unless a grain of
wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains just one grain; but if it
dies, it then bears much fruit.” (NWT)
NOTHING SOWN DIES IF YOU EXPECT TO REAP FROM IT LATER. IS
GOD STUPID OR THE GREEK FOOL WHO ADDED GREEK PHILOSOPHY AS THE WORD OF GOD?
ONE EXTRA THAT IS NOT NECESSERILY AN ERROR:
Mark 9:1 – Furthermore, he went on to say to them: “Truly I
say to you, There are some of those standing here that will not taste death at
all until first they see the kingdom of God already come in power.”
MATTHEW 24:34 – “Truly I say to you that this generation
will by no means pass away until all these things occur.” (also Mark 13:30 and
Luke 21:32)
Whether in their generation or our generation in a prophetic
application, this totally wrong. They ALL died already. Even those since 1800’s
who predicted the End Times are here. THEY ALL DIED ALREADY.
HOWEVER, the point I made in another topic is that the Messiah’s
Ransom brings the opportunity for us now to live forever physically,
biologically, as long as we live by the truth of God’s Word. Therefore, I am
certain the Apostles and many of those in Pentecost are still alive and hiding
in the ‘wilderness’ according to Revelation 12:6 and 14. THAT GENERATION, THEIR
GENERATION DID NOT PASS AWAY YET. TRULY, HE DID NOT LIE.
COMPARE WITH JOB 33:19 – 28 "Man is also rebuked with pain on his bed and with continual strife in his bones, so that his life loathes bread, and his appetite the choicest food. His flesh is so wasted away that it cannot be seen, and his bones that were not seen stick out. His soul draws near the pit, and his life to those who bring death. If there be for him an angel, a mediator, one of the thousand, to declare to man what is right for him, and he is merciful to him, and says, 'Deliver him from going down into the pit; I have found a ransom; let his flesh become fresh with youth; let him return to the days of his youthful vigor'; then man prays to God, and he accepts him; he sees his face with a shout of joy, and he restores to man his righteousness. He sings before men and says: 'I sinned and perverted what was right, and it was not repaid to me. He has redeemed my soul from going down into the pit, and my life shall look upon the light.'
