ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE

There are a lot of zombie movies on tv now. They seem to fall right in line with all the superhero movies and ‘End of the world’ disaster movies. And they are quite outspoken about any Biblical implications. Although, all those movies are totally contrary to what the Bible says.
I want to address the zombie propaganda, because there already is a movie called “The Replacement Gods” that addresses the superhero issue.

The Apocalypse is simply the Latin word for Revelation.
The Bible book of Revelation actually does prophesy that there will be zombie like plague.
In Revelation chapter 9, there are two plagues that torment mankind
during the Great Tribulation, or the ‘end of the world.’
The Great Tribulation is what Jesus referred to in Matthew 24:21.

Anyway, Revelation chapter 9 is about the zombie Apocalypse. It says in verse 6: ”And in those days people will seek death and will not find it. They will long to die, but death will flee from them.” (ESV)
This is really strange. For one, no preacher ever talks about this. But I wonder why ‘Hollywood’ associates zombies with the Biblical Apocalypse. Two, this is not about spiritual death, nobody seeks spiritual death, because most people are already spiritually dead. Actually all mankind is born dead spiritually, that is why we need salvation by means of Christ Jesus. So, it can only mean that people will seek to die physically, but ‘death will flee from them.’ What! Death awaits all of us eventually, sooner or later it gets us. Why would death ‘flee’ from anyone? We are not immortal. Oh! That’s the point! In torment people will want to die, but they will be incapable of dying somehow. The affliction will be making them stay alive. Well, that sounds like a zombie! Actually that sounds like leprosy. But this is a fast moving plague. That is why the Bible describes it like a plague of locusts. So, let’s break down the character of this plague:

Revelation 9:1-11 - ESV
And the fifth angel blew his trumpet,
(The trumpet. This is a strategic angelic call to war that happens during the great tribulation)
and I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth,
(A star fallen from heaven is never a good angel, but this not likely a new demon but rather symbolic of a religious leader removed from office)
and he was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit.
(Key is the spiritual capability to inspire warfare. Most likely the Pope, as the False Prophet, who would have already consented to cooperate with the U.N. to outlaw religion, save their own under strict regulation since the sounding of the 3rd trumpet)
He opened the shaft of the bottomless pit,
(The abyss is infinite darkness of death, the bottomless pit that devours the souls of mankind who incurred the unforgivable sin)
and from the shaft rose smoke like the smoke of a great furnace,
(The smoke is suffocating, frustrating, confusing, blinding propaganda)
and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke from the shaft.
The sun is enlightenment and the air is the spirit of man)
Then from the smoke came locusts on the earth,
(The locust is a plague, not spiritually speaking but physical, because the world is already plagued spiritually)
and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth.
(The power of scorpions is to inflict paralysing pain)
They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree,
(The grass, plants and trees are the basic provisions to sustain life)
but only those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
(The people who have the mark of the beast will be afflicted)
They were allowed to torment them for five months,
(This is a literal five months, not a symbolic formula)
but not to kill them,
(This is where the zombie part comes in)
and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings someone.
(Paralysing and painful)
And in those days people will seek death and will not find it.
They will long to die,
but death will flee from them.
In appearance the locusts were like horses prepared for battle:
(This is a plague designed for warfare, like a biological weapon)
on their heads were what looked like crowns of gold;
(Given authority by means of wealth, maybe affecting mostly the wealthy people)
their faces were like human faces,
(This has nothing to do with the normal interpretation as ‘love’ but rather represents something human, like perverted affection or immorality, because only are immoral not animals and angels can’t have sex)
their hair like women's hair,
(Long, flat, straight hair, symbolic of submission to the owner, maybe a virus rather than a bacterial agent)
and their teeth like lions' teeth;
(The authority of a carnivore, to eat flesh)
they had breastplates like breastplates of iron,
(Indomitable)
and the noise of their wings was like the noise of many chariots with horses rushing into battle.
(A quickly delivered airborne disease)
They have tails and stings like scorpions,
and their power to hurt people for five months is in their tails.
They have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit.
(Now this is king is an angel, but likely Satan because he is not prisoned in the abyss for a thousand years yet. Besides, a prisoner does not have the keys to his prison cell. Rev. 20:1-3)
His name in Hebrew is Abaddon,
(This name means Destroyer, maybe referring to Revelation 1:18; and Luke 8:31)
and in Greek he is called Apollyon.

Revelation 9:13-19 - ESV
Then the sixth angel blew his trumpet,
(Another strategic angelic call. To b e brief: the four angels at the four cardinal points around the foundation of supplanted Babylon the Great is not a direct assault by angels themselves, but inspired a military strike to exterminate those affected from the plague by means of fire or incendiary weapons if not neuclear)
and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet,
“Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.”
So the four angels,
who had been prepared for the hour,
the day,
the month,
and the year,
were released to kill a third of mankind.
The number of mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand;
I heard their number.
And this is how I saw the horses in my vision and those who rode them: they wore breastplates the color of fire and of sapphire and of sulfur,
and the heads of the horses were like lions' heads,
and fire and smoke and sulfur came out of their mouths.
(Meaning the command to exterminate)
By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed,
by the fire and smoke and sulfur coming out of their mouths.
For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails,
for their tails are like serpents with heads,
(Meaning the after affects if any survive extermination)
and by means of them they wound.

OK, SO, THAT IS THE BIBLE SCRIPT OF THE ZONBIE APOCOLYPSE.
Just note that it is not indiscriminate. It is targeted. We can take the proper precautions and protect ourselves form it.
