THE SEVEN TRUMPETS - PLAYBOOK FOR THE GREAT TRIBULATION
In Matthew 24:3-31, Jesus said in the LAST DAYS or END OF THE AGE there will be a GREAT TRIBULATION before he returns. Well, there is a big problem with that scriptural passage that describes what Jesus says will happen. Apparently there are no Christian ministers who want to admit the discrepancies.
First of all most of what Jesus says in the beginning already happened before he was born, which was during the time the Greek Ptolemaic and Seleucid kingdoms ruled Palestine from 276 B.C., to the 168 B.C. Maccabee revolt until 37 B.C. by King Herod.
It is curious that historically there several other people named Jesus before the Jesus Christ we know was born (which makes me wonder why he was not called Immanuel as prophesied in Isaiah 7:14 and Matthew 1:23). There were many false prophets, including Herod, who claimed to be the promised Messiah before the Jesus we know was born (none of whom was called Immanuel). Now, the other signs like wars, earthquakes and famines, these are things that always happen, and he did not says it will happen more often.
However the part about being persecuted and the gospel or good news being preached in all the earth, that is definitely for a time after Jesus died. But, what does it mean “the love of many will grow cold”? There has never been any love and charity in this world until Christians promoted it. Does that it is Christian love that has grown cold? Maybe.
For the most important sign, the abomination of desolation, it was the Greeks who actually entered and desecrated the the Most Holy Place of the Temple in Jerusalem and put their own gods there for the people to worship. This was long before Jesus was born. And it was notably the Maccabees and others like them who fled to the mountains.
However, what he says about the Great Tribulation is unprecedented, “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.”
But verse 27 and 28 says something strange, because ‘lightning’ does not come from the East and shines to the West. Only the SUN does that. And what is the CORPSE that the vultures (or eagles in some translations) are attracted to? Is that in reference to his bead body, which there was none to be found, or is it in reference to someone spiritually dead? By his standards wouldn’t that be most people in the world? What is that suppose to mean? Unless it means someone spirituality dead form the unforgiveable sin.
Anyway, the rest is most relevant in comparison to the book of Revelation: “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
Personally, the most notable way to explain that we are now living in the Last Days is from the book of Daniel. We are living in the time of the last kingdom or beast prophesied by Daniel in 2:41; 7:11 and 12:1.
So, Jesus mentions the angels with trumpets and the four winds. Now lets see what Revelation says:
After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree.
Revelation 7:1 -ESV
The wind is a tempest: (a violent windstorm, especially one with rain, hail, or snow. a violent commotion, disturbance, or tumult.)
Four corners - North, South, East and West
THERE IS SOMETHING IMPORTANT THAT HAPPENS JUST BEFORE THE GREAT TRIBULATION STARTS. THE FIRST RESURRECTION OF THOSE WHO ALREADY DIED, HAPPENS DURING THE GREAT TRIBULATION. THEN THERE IS THE SEPARATION OF THE SHEEP FROM THE GOATS.
Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told, “Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there, but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months. And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”
Revelation 11:1-3 -ESV
Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
1 Corinthians 3:16-17 -ESV
TO MEASURE THE TEMPLE IS TO EVALUATE THEIR STANDARDS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS TO BE A HOLY PEOPLE. THIS WILL BE THE ANGELIC HARVEST TIME TO SEPARATE THE WEEDS FROM THE WHEAT AND GATHER THE WHEAT INTO THE BARN (Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43; 47-50).
When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne, and the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel. Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth, and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake. Now the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to blow them.
Then I heard a loud voice from the temple telling the seven angels, “Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God.”
Revelation 16:1 -ESV
Trumpets - are the strategic calls
Bowls - are the acts (execution)
The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and these were thrown upon the earth. And a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.
Revelation 8:1-7 -ESV
Hail - destructive rain
Fire - fatal torment
Blood - death
Earth - social affairs of humans, a world opposite heaven. (Isaiah 8:22)
Trees - social infrastructure
Grass - human productivity
So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and harmful and painful sores came upon the people who bore the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.
Revelation 16:2 -ESV
THIS IS EQUIVALENT TO THE 5th TRUMPET AND BOWL, THAT AFFECTS ONLY THOSE WITH THE MARK OF THE BEAST. APPARENTLY, ALL FOUR THE TRUMPETS AND BOWLS OCCURE IN LESS THAN A YEAR. THE FIFTH ONE TILL THE SIXTH WILL LAST FOR SEVEN YEARS AS MARKED BY THE TWO WITNESSES.
The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. A third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became like the blood of a corpse, and every living thing died that was in the sea.
Revelation 16:3 -ESV
“I looked then because of the sound of the great words that the horn was speaking. And as I looked, the beast was killed, and its body destroyed and given over to be burned with fire. As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but their lives were prolonged for a season and a time. He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time. But the court shall sit in judgment, and his dominion shall be taken away, to be consumed and destroyed to the end.
Daniel 7:11-12,25-26 -ESV
And the angel said to me, “The waters that you saw, where the prostitute is seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages. And the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, and devour her flesh and burn her up with fire, for God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and handing over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. And the woman that you saw is the great city that has dominion over the kings of the earth.”
Revelation 17:15-18 -ESV
The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many people died from the water, because it had been made bitter.
A STAR USUALLY REFERS TO ANGEL. SO A FALLEN STAR IS NOT A GOOD ANGEL. BUT, LIKELY NOT LITERALLY ANOTHER BAD ANGEL OR DEMON. RATHER THIS REPRESENTS A RELIGIOUS ICON, MOST LIKELY THE NATION OF ISRAEL LOSES ITS SUPPORT FROM THE USA AND BECOMES A DISAPPOINTMENT TO BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE OF MANY FUNDAMENTALIST CHRISTIANS.
The third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water, and they became blood.
Revelation 16:4 -ESV
THE SPRINGS OF WATER IS THE WORD OF GOD. LIKE THE PLAGUES OF EGYPT IN MOSES TIME, THEY CAN NOTE DRINK IT ANY MORE.
And if anyone would harm them, fire pours from their mouth and consumes their foes. If anyone would harm them, this is how he is doomed to be killed. They have the power to shut the sky, that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague, as often as they desire. And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that rises from the bottomless pit will make war on them and conquer them and kill them, and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that symbolically is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified. For three and a half days some from the peoples and tribes and languages and nations will gaze at their dead bodies and refuse to let them be placed in a tomb,
Revelation 11:5-9 -ESV
(Amos 5:7; 6:12)
THE TWO WITNESSES - IS THE TRUTH. THEY DO NOT REPRESENT ANY PEOPLE AT ALL.
In John 8:17, Jesus said by the witness of 2 there is truth. Likewise, in John 5:31-39 Jesus is the witness and his Father is his witness. These 2 bear witness to the truth and they are both the lampstands who represent the 'lord of all the earth.' However, the Father Jehovah is not the other olive tree, but rather His Holy Spirit, as in 1 John 5:6-8. So, it is the 'Truth' of God's Word that is in a poor and distressed state since the beginning of Jesus' own ministry. As the Truth progresses throughout the centuries, their ministry does not end until the revelation of their prophesies is completed as to a witness to all the nations of the earth, then the end will come, according to Matt. 28:18-20.
However, this 'end' for the 2 witnesses is not referring to the 'end' of the Gentile Times or Appointed Time of the Nations, but rather to the Great Tribulation. What this means is that the Wild Beast from the abyss being the United Nations as the 8th world power will simultaneously destroy Babylon the Great and kill the 2 witnesses. Meaning, the 8th world power will in effect outlaw all religions. They can only accomplish this if they constitutionally reject 'Freedom of Religion' and assembly to worship (a civil right guaranteed by the 1st amendment to the US constitution).
The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of their light might be darkened, and a third of the day might be kept from shining, and likewise a third of the night.
Revelation 8:8-12 -ESV
The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory.
Revelation 16:8-9 -ESV
ACCORDING TO GENESIS 37:9, 10
THE SUN - THE FATHER (IN THIS CASE, JEHOVAH AS IN PSALMS 84:11)
THE MOON - THE MOTHER (HEAVENLY JERUSALEM)
THE STARS - THE SONS (GOD’S KINGDOM AS IN REV. 12:1)
THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE
And the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth, and he was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit. He opened the shaft of the bottomless pit, and from the shaft rose smoke like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke from the shaft. Then from the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth. They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. They were allowed to torment them for five months, but not to kill them, and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings someone. And in those days people will seek death and will not find it. They will long to die, but death will flee from them.
Revelation 9:1-6 -ESV
The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in anguish and cursed the God of heaven for their pain and sores. They did not repent of their deeds.
Revelation 16:10-11 -ESV
But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood up on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here!” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies watched them. And at that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven. The second woe has passed; behold, the third woe is soon to come.
Revelation 11:11-14 -ESV
Then the sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour, the day, the month, and the year, were released to kill a third of mankind.
Revelation 9:13-15 -ESV
THE FOUR ANGELS REPRESENT CARDINAL COMPASS POINTS FROM THE RIVER THAT REPRESENTED THE WORLD COMMERCIAL, POLITICAL AND RELIGIOUS SUPPORT OF BABYLON.
The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, to prepare the way for the kings from the east. And I saw, coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs. For they are demonic spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty. And they assembled them at the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.
Revelation 16:12-14,16 -ESV
Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to all the birds that fly directly overhead, “Come, gather for the great supper of God, to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great.” And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who was sitting on the horse and against his army.
Revelation 19:17-19 -ESV
but that in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of God would be fulfilled, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.
Revelation 10:7 -ESV
Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and amazing, seven angels with seven plagues, which are the last, for with them the wrath of God is finished. And I saw what appeared to be a sea of glass mingled with fire—and also those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name, standing beside the sea of glass with harps of God in their hands.
Revelation 15:1-2 -ESV
Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.”
Revelation 11:15 -ESV
The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, and a great earthquake such as there had never been since man was on the earth, so great was that earthquake. The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and God remembered Babylon the great, to make her drain the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath. And every island fled away, and no mountains were to be found. And great hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, fell from heaven on people; and they cursed God for the plague of the hail, because the plague was so severe.
Revelation 16:17-21 -ESV
And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. And the rest were slain by the sword that came from the mouth of him who was sitting on the horse, and all the birds were gorged with their flesh.
Revelation 19:20-21 -ESV
