JESUS IS ZEUS revised

Pray to our Heavenly Father in the name of Emmanuel, not Jesus.

Jesus is not the Christ, the Messiah or the Anointed One. It is not Yeshua either.
Emmanuel is the Anointed One, Messiah or Christ.

1) The Bible itself said the Messiah would be named Emmanuel. “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
Isaiah 7:14 ASV

2) Why would Matthew, a Jew who wrote his book in Hebrew need to define the meaning of a Hebrew name ‘Yeshua’ and ‘Emmanuel’ to Jewish people?
 (Matthew 1:21,23)
If that definition was added by the Greek translators, then it stands to question what else could they have added?
THEY COULD NOT CHANGE THE QUOTED HEBREW SCRIPTURE OF ISAIAH IN MATTHEW 1:23, BUT USED THE MEANING OF EMMANUEL AS A JUSTIFICATION FOR JESUS.

“She will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Yeshua, [which means ‘ ADONAI saves,’] because he will save his people from their sins.” All this happened in order to fulfill what ADONAI had said through the prophet, “The virgin will conceive and bear a son, and they will call him ‘Immanu El.” (The name means, “God is with us.”) When Yosef awoke he did what the angel of ADONAI had told him to do — he took Miryam home to be his wife, but he did not have sexual relations with her until she had given birth to a son, and he named him Yeshua.”
Mattityahu (Mat) 1:21-25 CJB

3) A distinctive fact remains, that the Jewish authorities never made the claim that he (the Nazarene) could not be the Messiah because he is not called Emmanuel as prophesied, just as much as they knew he IS a descendant of David.

4) By tradition and respect, his followers would never address him by his personal name. This is characteristic of some of the non-canon early Christian writings which never mentions the name ‘Jesus’ and only addresses him as ‘Lord or Christ.’ This would hold true even more so for the holy prophetic name Emmanuel:
Clement of Alexandria
The Teachings of the Twelve Apostles
The Shepherd of Hermas
The Epistle to Diognetus

5) Now, the name Jesus is not a Jewish name. It is not a phonetic translation of the Hebrew name Yeshua or any variation of it’s spelling. All Biblical name are translated into Greek phonetically and not by meaning. But the name Jesus is spelled distinctively different in Greek than any similar Hebrew name:

Je-sus
Ιη-σοῦς  - This is the actual Greek rendering, which has its own Greek meaning.
Ιω-Ησα  or  Ιωήσα  - This is a proper phonetic rendition for “Jehovah Is Salvation”

Jo-shua  (Jeshua, Yeshua, Yehoshua, Yah-shua, Ye-shu’a, Yeho-shu’a)
Ιη-σούς  -  This is the actual Greek rendering, the same as Jesus.
Ιω-Ησα  or  Ιωσ-Σούα   -  This is the proper phonetic rendition for “Jehovah Is Powerful”

FIRST SYLLABLE AS NAME PREFIX
“Jeho” is shortened as “Jo,” either way it is “Ιω” in Greek:

Jeho-shaphat  -  Ιω-σαφάτ            “Jehovah Is Judge”
Jeho-iakim  -  Ιω-ακείμ              “Jehovah Raises Up”
Jo-hn  -  Ιω-άννην  (short of Jeho-hannan) “Jehovah Has Shown Favor”
Jo-el  -  Ιω-ήλ         “Jehovah Is God”

Why are the names Jesus and Joshua spelled with “Ιη” rather than “Ιω”?
The “Ιω” is explicitly a hebrew rendition of “Jeho,” whereas “Ιη” simply Greek.

Yah or Jah, I shall be + Shua, Powerful = “Jehovah is Powerful”

Ephe-sus  -   ἔφε-σον; ἐφέ-σῳ (Greek)
Shu-shan  -  Σού-σοις       (Persian)
Shu-nammite  -  Σου-ναμίτιν     (Semitic)
Shuah, Shua  -  Σωια; Σουα     (Semitic)

“It is known that the Greek name endings with sus, seus, and sous [which are phonetic pronunciations for the chief Greek god of Olympus] were attached by the Greeks to names and geographical areas as means to give honour to their supreme deity, Zeus.” - (Dictionary of Christain Lore and Legend, Professor J. C. J. Metford)

So, Ephe-sus could mean daughter of Zeus. It is not at all related to “Shuah” (Σουα), as in Yehoshua.

The Greek translators are not stupid, they obviously would know the phonetic rendition of Joshua in a Greek translation. So the only reason for the occurrence of Ye-sous for Joshua and the Messiah is, because it was added and falsified. Most Greek Christians in the 1st century would accept it, if they saw it was written in the Gospels, just as much as we have to this day.

The only possible reason why the Son of God was named Jesus instead of Emmanuel is because of the art of words or deception, otherwise known as magic and spells (as in spelling).

(See the movie, The Replacement gods)

After removing the tetragrammaton YHWH from the Greek Septuagint Bible and New Testament books, the Greek translators took it upon themselves to make Jesus the surrogate of YHWH (Jehovah). Thus establishing the worship of Jesus as God rather than Jehovah.

Emmanuel would not be a suitable name for the Greeks since God could not have a name that says ‘God is with US’, which includes the person named, rather than saying ‘God is with you.’

They rightly presume nobody would question a scripture that says an angel named him Jesus, as if it is the same as Emmanuel in some way.

Otherwise,
Acts 13:6 (GNB)
“They went all the way across the island to Paphos, where they met a certain magician named Bar-Jesus, a Jew who claimed to be a prophet.

“Bar-Jesus,” - ‘Bar’ (Semitic) meaning ‘son.’

The New Testament in Greek, never mentions the name Zeus. The Bible translations that we have, where it say ‘Zeus,’ is written simply as ‘Dia, Dio, or Dios’ in the Greek version, which simply means ‘god.’ Why is the name Zeus written simply as Dio in Greek?

I’ll tell you why. Even in the greek version of the The Iliad by Homer, Zeus is simply written as Dios. That means ‘Zeus’ simply means ‘god’.

Thus,
Jesus / Iesous / Ιη-σοῦς means the ‘son of Zeus’, or ‘the true god.’
So, then, did that false Christ who is called Bar-Jesus claim to be the son of the true god among the Greeks?

Of whom the Apostle Paul said: “O man full of every sort of fraud and every sort of villainy, you son of the Devil, you enemy of everything righteous, will you not quit distorting the right ways of Jehovah?”
Acts 13:10

Paul apparently did not see Bar-Jesus as ‘son of Jesus’ but rather as ‘son of Zeus’ and therefore as ‘son of the Devil.’

‘Jesus’ is most likely originates from a Jewish phonetic translation of ‘god’ in Greek. This means that since the Apostles were preaching about the Anointed Son of the True God, then The Jewish version of ‘the anointed son of the true god’ in Greek, would be ‘Christ Jesus.’
Kristo I-e’sous
Χριστόν Ἰ-η’σοῦν
Anointed son-the’god

The name Jesus comes from the Greek words Huios (son) and Zeus/Deos (god). Huios+Zeus=HuZeus: Son of god.

It seems the magic or sorcery of Bar-Jesus against the Christians has succeded, just as Baʹlaam the son of Beʹor succeeded against ancient Israel.

“But there are a few things I have against you: there are some among you who follow the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak how to lead the people of Israel into sin by persuading them to eat food that had been offered to idols and to practise sexual immorality.”
Revelation 2:14 GNB

“They have left the straight path and have lost their way; they have followed the path taken by Balaam son of Beor, who loved the money he would get for doing wrong”
2 Peter 2:15 GNB

I can only confirm this by reason of the obvious, that for 2 thousand years of invoking the name of Jesus has brought nothing good into the world except more wars, divisions, hatred, ignorace and intolerance. It has no power to expel demons or pacify evil people who may even bear the name Jesus themselves. Following the teachings of the Son of God is certainly beneficial and life saving but invoking the name Jesus is not.
